My Favorite Resorts for a Honeymoon in the Bahamas

The idea of a Bahamas honeymoon holiday is just so dreamy, it's not wonder you're considering it for your honeymoon!

With its white sand beaches, great weather, crystal-clear waters, and a ton of incredible Bahama honeymoon resorts you're pretty much guaranteed a perfect honeymoon in the Bahamas.

(A wedding gift, anyone?) Seriously, that's a whole lot of islands! What's equally impressive is how each of them is a little bit different from the other in attitude, resort style and feel. Grayvliff Hotel, Nassau, Bahamas

Tucked away in beautiful Nassau this resort was the first 5 star hotel in the Caribbean. And, if you're into Victorian charm, then you'll love the rooms at this resort as they're filled antiques. They have purposely left the design in tact since it was built in the 1700's.

Apparently the bathrooms are pretty impressive and their two pools make it easier to get away from the crowds.

Old Bahama Bay, West End Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas

The Old Bahama Bay Resort is well known for its seclusion, Bahamiam charm and services that pamper to the extreme (And, really,is there such thing as too much pampering for your Bahama honeymoon holiday?)

The bride who wrote to me about this said that you pay a reasonable price for for the ultimate in seclusion, stunning rooms, great food and a great beach.

Because this hotel is all about tranquility and calm, you have the option of going to Freeport, a 30-minute drive away. Sounds like the perfect honeymoon — no distractions to keep you newlyweds out of each other's arms!

Musha Cay, Copperfield Bay, Bahamas

At a whopping $30,000-$50,000 per night, this place is probably out of most brides' budgets. But, I just couldn't stop myself from sharing this wickedly cool resort owned by David Copperfield himself!

If you want true luxury for your Bahamas honeymoon holiday and can afford the price tag, then you're in for the honeymoon most of us only get to dream about.

The Web site is worth the slow loading time for the fantasizing alone! I'm guessing it must be where the rich and famous hang out during their honeymoon in the Bahamas. Incredible!

Emerald Palms Resort, Andros Islands, Bahamas

The Emerald Palms Resort is located on the secluded Andros islands in the Bahamas.

The newlyweds who wrote to me about this place are snorkelling junkies and they couldn't have imagined a better place to be!

It turns out Andros has the world's third-largest and healthiest barrier reef — WOW! It's a really lovely, off-the-beaten track location for a secluded Bahamas honeymoon holiday.

She mentioned that the sunrise and sunset is absolutley remarkable from the particular vantage point of this resort.That alone makes this an ideal spot for a romantic Bahamas honeymoon holiday!

Bimini Bay Resort, North Bimini, Bahamas

The Bimini Bay Resort in north Bimini offers one of two exquisite views from all rooms: the bay or the ocean.

The bride who wrote to me about this place had a view of the bay and was thrilled with everything about this resort.

There is a nice small-island feel at this resort, which makes guests feel at ease during their honeymoon in the Bahamas.

She noticed one couple getting married and couldn't imagine a better place for a destination wedding as it has yet to be discovered by the masses. Unlike other resorts, you will likely be the only bride/groom being tended to on a given day - though who knows when it will be discovered. I say take it it now while you still can!
