Ainsley and Chad’s Chic and Charming Backyard Wedding

The first thing you’ll notice about this beautiful backyard wedding is how fabulously well co-ordinated it is! That’s all thanks to DIY queen Ainsley, who infused every aspect of the wedding with that gorgeous shade of teal, making it look like the most professionally put-together event ever!

There is just so much pretty in this wedding that I don’t know what to look at first! I can’t help but be bowled over by how much thought and effort the couple put into this wedding – you can see the love in every detail.

Here’s the big secret to Ainsley and Chad’s success: they kept their wedding small. There were just thirty guests present when these lovebirds tied the knot in Chad’s family’s cozy backyard in Waterdown, Ontario, and that meant that not only did the couple keep wedding costs down, they also got to make sure that every little detail was just right.

I can’t decide what I love the most – the little frames with the couples’ pictures in them, the luscious-looking pashminas in co-ordinating tones of teal, or the charming wooden sign directing guests to the wedding! I can’t believe Ainsley managed to find a teal colored car for them to drive away in, and I have to admit the picture of the two of them kissing in front of it is one of my faves from the whole gallery.

You can tell that this was a real homely, intimate affair, and maybe those are the most fun! The guests all ate at two long tables on the back deck, and the tent was simply decorated with paper lanterns and fairy lights. I love the way even the wooden deck chairs have been painted to match the color scheme – now that’s attention to detail!
