Amanda and Danny’s Modern White, Green and Brown Wedding

Green and brown ain’t your usual wedding colour combo. But I do love couples who do things differently! Check out these perfect pics. Zingy greens and delicious chocolate browns are brilliant for modern brides.

It’s a simple color scheme that’s contemporary, classy and so stylish it hurts! As the colors are so strong, Amanda and Danny didn’t need to go overboard on details. They saved oodles of cash by not having a wedding arch.

It’s not like they needed one – right!

Check out the gorgeous outdoor seating area. I actually said ‘wow’ out  loud when I first saw these pics – and almost dropped my lunch! The seats in bright white against that mountain backdrop is truly breathtaking stuff!

Amanda and Danny have the chic look totally nailed. I’m thinking Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel here, ladies. They’ve gone for the simple and classic look with minimal detailing and a modern color scheme. Coco would’ve been proud of this pair!

Everything about this wedding screams taste and timeless style.

This couple let the setting do the talking and made sure their decor and details worked with the surroundings.

How To Make This Wedding Yours

Swooning over Amanda and Danny’s simple colour scheme and super stylish decor?

At first glance, it looks a little expensive. But hang on a sec! Take a second look and you’ll soon see that you can channel their ideas without blowing your budget.

Let’s start with the flowers. See how they’ve used a few well-placed blooms to full effect? Remember the old rule – less is more! Check out the rose petals. Scattering some pretty and fragrant petals around the seating area makes for a showstopping effect. You also won’t need to spend a fortune on flower arrangements and chair placements. Sweet!

Also loving her fresh bouquet! Bright whites and spring greens work brilliantly with the green and brown color scheme. White flowers are available throughout the year and greenery is never thin on the ground.

See what they did with the wedding cake? It’s short on frills but big on style. Try swapping flowers for stripes, Art Deco style detailing and motifs.

I absolutely adore their fresh and modern approach to wedding decor. Steal their style without draining your dollars and check out The K.i.s.s Wedding Planning Guides and find out how they can help you plan your big day.

  • I had a blast shooting this wedding. Laura with Forevermore Events did an amazing job with the decoration, and Bloomers with the flowers. What a fun couple!
