Carolyn and Timothy’s Sweet and Simple Turqoise and Yellow Wedding
If I could, I would jump into the photos of this vibrant wedding! With a color palette of lemonade and turquoise, what’s not to love? From the romantic outdoor setting to the eclectic decor, this outdoor wedding screams summer beauty.
Seriously, these wedding photos look good enough to eat!
Carolyn and Timothy’s blend of vintage accessories perfectly accented their bold color choices. By mixing simple and affordable materials with colorful accents, they created super chic wedding decor without breaking the bank. LOVE the creative use of paper doillies. And check out the painted blue table full of unadorned white vases. Gorgeous!

Speaking of vintage, let’s talk about Carolyn’s gorgeous wedding gown. It’s lace overlay is a classic touch, while the silhouette is thoroughly modern. Personally, I can’t get over the exquisite lace pattern on the back. As if that weren’t fabulous enough, the bride went non-traditional with her choice of veil. Instead of a long veil, she chose a delicate hair netting secured by a beautiful white bloom. Simply stunning!
If you’re looking for a stand-out bride, you’ve found her.
An outdoor setting is always a great choice for your big day, and this wedding proves it. This lush Santa Fe Spring, California site lent itself perfectly to showcase the celebration of this marriage. And by Keeping It Simple and Special with their venue choice, the happy couple was able to keep their budget simple, too!
The thriving greenery was a great backdrop for these festivities. And as the stars came out, the party really got started. I love the unconventional choice of corn hole as a reception activity. Talk about fun!
If you want to talk luscious, let’s talk about the flowers. Playful and sweet, the combination of colors makes me grin. These full flowers are big on style, yet easy on the wallet. By keeping the flowers simple, you can amp up the style without inflating the price.
Big impact, little price tag.
Nowhere do these flowers stand out more than on the classic, white wedding cake. Sophisticated and elegant, the cake is picture perfect with it’s white frosting and delicate piping. Even the clear glass cake stand is beautiful!
No details were overlooked at this affair – even the vintage glass containers that held each table’s centerpiece were tinted blue to tie in with the day’s color scheme. Charming touches like vintage books and a chalkboard menu sign made for a memorable day.
Take note, DIYers. This wedding is overflowing with great ideas.
