Courtney and Brad’s Electric Blue and Orange Fall Wedding

I’m just loving this laid back blue and orange fall wedding! Courtney and Brad got the best of both worlds. They brought the great outdoors in with their clever choice of wedding venue. Dazzling doesn’t do it justice! The Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens was a stroke of sheer brilliance!

It’s got everything a gal could possibly want from a wedding venue. A flowing creek bubbling along gently. Picture perfect plants. Glass windows that glittered brilliantly against the sky. Just imagine saying your vows in such a stunner! This is a modern fairytale wedding with a couple of quirky touches.

Thanks to the brilliant botanical background, this lovely couple didn’t have to spend dozens of dollars on wedding decorations. And nor do you!

The electric blue and juicy orange color scheme is a real traffic-stopper. They worked two bold shades to the max.

See how Courtney’s gone for floating orange Gerberas as her fall wedding centerpieces? Way more affordable than pricey floral arrangements. She’s picked a cheerful flower and woven it into every aspect, including that classy and simple wedding cake. She’s used faux flowers, pearls and blue ribbon to super stylish effect. Brides on a budget take note! This wedding cake looks a million bucks but you can channel the chic, simple look without draining your dollars. Loving her work.

Also absolutely adore that luscious blue jacket on her bridal bouquet. Delicate beading adds a really subtle feminine touch.

Everything from the shoes down to the table settings fit with the beautiful blue and orange theme.

Bridesmaid’s dresses, invitations, table centers and even shoes were emblazoned with these  kick-ass colors! Speaking of bridal shoes, check out those orange Converse sneakers! Genius or what? Bet Courtney didn’t stop dancing all night!

Toms Shoes

Brad went for comfy groom’s shoes too. It just goes to show you can combine comfort with style!

Simple Homemade Cookie Favors

Inexpensive favors alert! ‘Do a Courtney’ and give your guests DIY wedding favors – LOVING the homemade cookies as wedding favors. You don’t have to spend a fortune and they get the personal touch. Everyone wins!

See how happy and relaxed everyone looks? Courtney’s clearly on cloud nine and her groom obviously knows he’s a lucky man. Also, have you ever seen bridesmaids beam like that?

How can you make this wedding “you”

  • Wanna steal Courtney’s chilled out bridal style?
  • It’s easy to get the wow effect without breaking the bank. Take a leaf out of Courtney and Brad’s book and your smile will be as broad as hers.
  • Here’s how to channel the chilled and classy look:
  • Pick two eye-catching colors that complement each other. Bold shades do the talking so you can go easy on expensive decoration and flowers.
  • Choose a wedding venue with ready-made decor. I’m not saying it has to be extravagant. A simple space can look stunning with minimal decoration. Twinkling fairy lights are always a winner.
  • Make like Courtney and select a strong flower that ties everything together. See how she used the funky Gerbera Daisy as a constant? It pops up on tables, invites and in those head-turning bouquets.

Speaking of your fall wedding invites and table markers, keep it simple and classy, ladies! You could easily make ones like Courtney’s yourself.

One more thing. Relax and smile! Thanks to a laid-back approach, this couple had a hassle-free day. The photos speak volumes.
