Elizabeth & Brad’s Pumpkin Themed Fall Wedding

If Aphrodite had her wedding today, it would look like this fab fall affair! It’s got all the essential elements and then some. Prepare to be stunned and shed a tear, ladies!

The picture perfect plantation had special significance for Elizabeth and Brad. The bride’s mom passed away when she was 8 and used to train horses in the old barns.

The outdoor setting was just what the wedding doctor ordered. This lovely couple wanted a traditional and rustic wedding in a location loaded with meaning and personal history. Their exit car was a 1967 Mercury Cougar that belonged to Elizabeth’s mom when she was 16. Pass the Kleenex before I blub big time!

Loving their work with the pumpkin wedding theme. They blended fall’s awesome golden oranges, reds and yellows into the mix ato glorious effect. This couple’s DIY wedding decor looks a million dollars. Elizabeth’s 7th-grade students carved the pumpkins that illuminated the walkways. These little beauties blazed a trail for guests to the reception venue.

See the silver green pumpkins by the seats in the barn? Who needs expensive floral ceremony arrangements when you’ve got a green-fingered groom? Brad grew these little beauties with his bare hands!

Look at that bridal bouquet. What a mix of amazing colors! Blushing pinks, radiant yellows, rich reds and a hint of royal purple. That’s the beauty of fall wedding flowers. You’ve got so many shades on the menu and they all work together  to dramatic effect.

How To Make This Wedding Yours!

Wanna steal Elizabeth’s style? You’re not alone. This gal has got class. Channel the spirit and style of this fab outdoor fall wedding without spending a fortune. Yay!

Creative wedding cake alert! Why not have a bit of fun with food? The moo cake complements the plantation setting perfectly. Sterling work! If you’re not a domestic goddess, get a friend or relative to whip you up a novelty wedding cake.

Check the wedding favors. Candy in fall colors! Inexpensive and a stroke of genius. They’ve even popped pumpkin shaped candy in there.

Follow Elizabeth’s lead and create fall-themed table centers. See how she used berries and fall foliage to fab effect? The flickering tea lights make the glass vases glow and twinkle.

Keep place settings and order of ceremony booklets simple. Scrolled text is the way to go. You could easily recreate Elizabeth and Brad’s by hand or on the computer.
