Erica and Sean’s Pink and Purple Outdoor Wedding In The Fall
Heart-stopping flowers! THOSE badass peep toe shoes! The chic cake! I’m loving how everything about this super elegant wedding is royal purple and hot pink.
These two colors go together like strawberries and cream. Pretty but not too girly, this color combo is a modern classic.
Check out Erica’s bridal bouquet. It rocks! I might just explode with envy! Romantic pink roses blended with bold purple blooms is pure genius. Any brides out there wanting to mix old school romance with new skool cool should look no further.
Just look at that gorgeous location! Luscious green grass, tall trees and a lovely lake as the backdrop! What more could a gal want for an outdoor wedding? By having such a breathtaking backdrop Erica didn’t need to splash dollars on a ceremony altar or big flower arrangements.
After the ceremony, the couple and their guests dined in a lantern-lit tent decorated with subtle flashes of rich purple. Picture perfect doesn’t do it justice!
Speaking of pics, have you noticed what they did on the photography front? Erica and Sean got guests to take evening photos by giving out cameras. They got the best of both worlds; professional day shots and informal images after dark. They will have saved dozens of dollars by doing so. Smart couple. Loving their work!
This clever couple’s fab fall wedding scores top marks in my book. Talk about getting it right on all fronts! If you want a classy day that doesn’t cost the earth, take note!

Want to know how to rock a pink and purple wedding theme?
Prepare to be pleasantly surprised. It’s way easier than you think! Just let the colors do the talking and you’ve got it totally sussed. The trick is to pick two similar colors and use them to the max. Stick to a dual color combo and you’ll make sorting your wedding decor way easier.
Planning a DIY wedding? You’re in luck, lady! As the colors are so striking you can keep wedding decor and detailing simple.
Trying to think of an alternative to floral ceremony arrangements? Follow Erica and Sean’s lead and scatter rose petals up the aisle instead! You can use this smart little move for an indoor or outdoor wedding.
See how they used tall vases, tea lights and polished stones to create chic and contemporary table centres? They may look expensive but you can easily do them yourself. Take a large glass vase, pop in a purple orchid and you’ve got one showstopping centrepiece.
Stressing over the invites? Take a leaf out of Erica’s book and make simple and classy invitations. Check hers out – elegant script and a simple illustration. You could definitely draft in family and friends to help make those little lovelies!
Also loving the way they swapped bride and groom figurines with elegant first name initials on top of the cake. It’s a much more affordable alternative to rose toppers and looks totally classy too!
Erica is one seriously smart bride! She made her dollars go the distance by simplifying things. This clever gal got a chic wedding without spending a small fortune.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comments about our special day! I had an amazing time planning it and working with such an amazing group of people. We had an amazing day and danced the night away (so much I could barely walk for the next 3 days!)
