Lisa & Daniel’s Vintage Brunch Wedding

Why settle for breakfast when you could have a wedding brunch? Lisa and Daniel’s vintage wedding had all the right ingredients. Creative catering played a huge part. Lisa used her background in the field to full effect. This lady knew exactly what she wanted and used her awesome skills to get it. Guests tucked into a feast of freshly cooked omelettes, waffles, bagels, fresh fruit, breakfast meats and salads.

They got the wow factor without spending a small fortune. Let’s see how they did it…

It wasn’t just the catering that made this wedding a true traffic stopper. Ingenious retro details and funky flourishes made for a fab set of photos.

This may have been a small wedding but it packed a powerful punch! Lisa and Daniel fully embraced the DIY wedding spirit and their efforts paid off big time.

Mom pitched in and made the cupcakes. A family member performed the ceremony. Instead of a DJ, they used an iPod playlist. Maximise your resources. Unleash your creative side. Do things differently and have fun with wedding planning.

Mom also made the stunning green and purple table runners. Loving her work on the retro patterns. Pure genius!

One thing that really struck me about this offbeat wedding is the lack of flowers. They simply weren’t needed. Consider wedding flowers carefully. Will they fit in with the theme and tone of your big day? There are alternatives. Lisa and Daniel swapped pricey bridal blooms for tea lights, pebbles and those gorgeous blue birds.

Lisa’s bridal bouquet was simple and chic. White flowers and green foliage is always a winning combination.

Who needs a stately home when you’ve got a  modern classic like this super cool hotel? The reception venue’s red brick walls and timber interiors hit the right note.

I’m absolutely crazy about Lisa’s dress and accessories! She’s one truly original bride. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a distinctive wedding dress. Lisa got hers at a consignment shop. The jewelry was from Etsy.

The vintage wedding details were spot on. Everything from the lettering on the Mr & Mrs cards to the color scheme screams retro chic.

Nice to see some black and white wedding photos in the mix. You can’t beat them for old school glamour.

There was a big  theatrical feel to this wedding. Loving their work with the shades, hats and moustaches! Guests were encouraged to get into the dramatic spirit and dress up. Weddings should be fun, right? I would have loved to have attended this one. Looks like a real riot!
