This magical pumpkin themed wedding was planned in just over a month! Raymond discovered he was to be posted to Afghanistan and wanted to marry Mallory before he was deployed. I didn’t know whether to smile or shed a tear when I first glimpsed these stunning outdoor wedding photos.
Hats off to this brave and beautiful couple. I can barely believe they did all this in such a short time. It’s an incredible achievement. There’s a very strong organic feel coupled with elegant styling and a few funky touches. All the elements blended beautifully.
Want the fall fairytale effect for your wedding? Look no further for inspiration. Mallory and Raymond nailed it on every level.
Everything from the flowers to the signage screamed autumn. The color combinations made me sit up and pay attention! Rich reds, golden yellows, warm oranges and pretty pinks turn heads. Period.

See how they kept the wedding arch simple and rustic? Loving their work on the candle chandelier! Pumpkins were thoughtfully placed in key locations around this gorgeous private residence. Who needs a stately home when you’ve got rolling fields?
Mallory looked every inch the fairytale bride. Her natural style complimented the countryside settting perfectly.
The wedding flowers were amazing. I’m mad about the way they combined formal arrangements with the wildflower look. The glass jars are a lovely, natural touch and the mini pumpkins are seriously cute!
Have you clocked those red rose chair backs with white ribbon?
They look a million dollars but you don’t have to drain you budget to get the look. Channel the ‘pick your own’ wedding flowers trend. Planning an outdoor wedding in the country? Check local farms and eco-friendly florists for pick your own offers. Take advantage and save big time!

The pumpkin shaped cage lanterns with orange candles were a stroke of genius. Ruby red and butter yellow leaves added the finishing touch to wow factor table centers.
It’s not every day you see a white pumpkin! It just goes to show that wedding decor can be both simple and stunning. Get creative and think of things that create an impact without costing a fortune. I love the way they’ve used family photographs with the guest book. They add a personal touch that money can’t buy.
Every detail of the day was styled with the overall theme in mind. Even the cupcakes look autumnal. Fruit can double up as wedding decor and adds a splash of color. Nice touch with the seasonal cocktails. In some settings cocktails work better than champagne – this is one of them.
Guests got their groove on when the sun set – on the dancefloor and the basketball court. Speaking of sunsets, check out that lilac sky! It wasn’t just the illuminated bridge that made Mallory and Raymond’s evening reception pics perfect. The sky did them proud too and you can’t buy that kind of effect.
You can’t fault this pumpkin wedding for beauty, style, class and fun. All the elements were there. Guys – I salute you. Literally.

Beautiful images and couple! That bridal party shot with the sunset is sooooo fun, if I were that couple I’d have a huge print of it hanging in my house. I love it!
