Matt and Erica’s Bountiful Coloruful Blue and Pink Wedding in The Country

What do you get when you cross a gorgeous country setting with bright, beautiful colors? Matt and Erica’s fantastic affair! Married in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, this wedding is country-fabulous, and here are the photos to prove it.

Think country wedding aren’t chic? Think again, ladies!

I mean, does it get more beautiful than this? The lush countryside is the backdrop for this bride and groom. The expansive farm landscape showcased this celebration perfectly. The stone buildings provided a rustic charm. Add to that the expansive lake that highlights the stylish bride and groom, and you’ve got nothing short of a magical setting.

I heart Chippewa Falls.

Since we’re on the topic of what’s stylish, will you look at Erica’s Nicole Miller dress? Talk about sumptuous luxury. The cascading fabric drapes and falls in all the right places. The skirt is reminiscent of Scarlett O’hara’s magnificent dress in Gone With the Wind. Pretty appropriate considering she was a country girl, too!

My favorite part is the ribbon tied around Erica’s waist. The striped ribbon gives a nod to simple country goodness while accenting this spectacular gown.

Not only are the bride and groom snappy dressers, they’re also football fans. These fun wedding cakes illustrate their love of their teams! Matching frosting helmets from the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers adorn each cake. Did you know? Unique cakes are a great way to further personalize your big day.

I love bright colors, and Erica and Matt do, too! While the bridesmaids looked elegant in blue, the flowers popped with orange and fuscia. These bold colors are opposites on the color wheel which makes for gorgeous vibrancy.

No country wedding is complete without a cow or two, right? These adorable creatures found their way into the decor as well as the backdrop. The tiny cow figurines near the centerpieces are oh-so charming, but my favorite has got to be the cow sporting a veil.

I mean, COME. ON. That is fabulous.

I also love the vintage photographs of significant past weddings. Personal photographs add a sweet intimacy to your celebration. These custom chocolates are a great take-away, too. With photos of the bride and groom printed on the wrappers, these guests will be scooping them up by the handful.
