Noelle & Van’s Beautiful Butterfly Wedding

Top marks to Noelle and Van for good taste. Their butterfly themed wedding was a real beauty. Prepare to have your heart melted by these picture perfect nuptials. Think pretty and dramatic and you’re halfway there.

Everything from the pink and purple color scheme to the wow factor setting was spot on. This wedding looked a million dollars but there are tons of style details you can claim for your own without blowing the budget.

Brace yourselves ladies! The following pics ain’t for the faint of heart…

Butterflies were worked into every aspect of the day in chic and subtle way. Loving that vivid purple and yellow butterfly nestling amidst the floral arrangement!

The location was amazing. The Airlie Center in Warrington, Virginia, did Noelle and Van proud. Lush green lawns and old school interiors plus courtyards and a lovely lake gave this couple a stunning set of wedding pics.

Speaking of which, the photographer made sure they got a vary varied wedding album. Imaginative photography angles and poses made their shots stand out from the herd.

The style details were stunning and screamed summer. Bridemaids looked lovely in long, strapless turquoise gowns. Noelle naturally stole the show in a low-backed gown with a gorgeous floral fascinator. Loving the lace detailing on the dress.

Table decor was chic and simple. Multicolored butterflies looked lovely on crisp white tablecloths along with super pretty purple and pink floral centerpieces. Lush!

The wedding cake was a real stunner. The design was minimalist and complemented the butterflies and floral topper brilliantly. It just goes to show that you don’t need an elaborate cake design to make a statement. A simple but beautiful white cake and some well-placed dressing go together beautifully.

Yay, candy! You can pick up candy bowls for next to nothing and candy is cheap is chips. Put them together and you have ready-made, gorgeous table decor that doesn’t cost a bean. Result!

The best thing about Noelle and Van’s wonderful wedding was its union of the traditional and the contemporary. There were nods to time-honoured wedding traditions such as the engraved cake knife and floral arrangements. However, the guest book became a funky board and the bride and groom really got stuck into their evening do with a good old cake fight!
