Ann and Daniel’s Urban-inspired Purple, Red and Black Fall Wedding

An urban wedding with wow factor!
This purple, red and black fall wedding blends city cool with fairytale romance.
It’s like a thoroughly modern version of West Side Story! Romantic but funky it’s a masterclass in how to get the best out of your budget and surroundings.
Absolutely adoring everything about it. From the deep dramatic color scheme to the cheerful flowers. Those royal blue shoes with square bows are super cute – right!
But it’s the fabulous photos that really bring the real spirit of this city wedding to life.
Lucky for them their photographer channeled the inner city surroundings to create a super modern set of photos that stand out for all the right reasons. Check out the pic of the groom and his ushers! Tough guys with hearts of gold. You can tell they’re really having fun with it.
Aren’t you just loving that group shot on the staircase? It’s inspired! Ideal for the offbeat bride who’s desperately seeking a really distinctive group photo.
A city wedding can be just as awesome as a a big day at a country house or hotel. These pics prove it!

What I’m really loving about this purple and black fall wedding is how they’ve combined the traditional with the modern. Take the cake. It’s a contemporary chocolate cube with purple and red border – pretty unusual, right? However, they’ve kept it classic with the traditional bride and groom figures on the top.
The whole urban vibe is given a romantic and happy touch with a blend of orange and red gerberas.
I’m betting they didn’t spend a fortune on decor and those simple but classy placecards are super easy to create at home.
Fancy doing it yourself? It’s really easy to make a city wedding a real showstopper! Bold colors, contemporary decor and working with your urban surroundings will make wedding planning a total breeze.
