Sara and Brent’s Sweet and Sunny Garden Wedding

Ok ladies… get ready for a pretty overload, because today we have the most deeee-lish wedding to bring to you.

Think hot pink. Think juicy orange. Think sunshine and flowers and green, green lusciousness. Is your mouth watering yet? Because mine was when I saw this gorgeous outdoor wedding that is one part rustic, one part stylish, and about fifty parts utterly, utterly lovable.

How could you resist? I don’t know what I like most – the zingy touches of pink in the bride’s outfit (you know that girl has a sassy side!); the fun, unpretentious bunches of daisies everywhere; or the tables groaning with a real country-style feast. No fussy, fancy four-course meals here, just good old-fashioned comfort food – yay!

And don’t even get me started on those flower-bedecked SHOES! I want to EAT them, they are so fabulous!

Listen up girls, because here’s the best bit: this is a DIY wedding that made the most of sunshine, setting and sweet home-made treats. Yes that’s right. Pretty and perfect and not a bankrupted daddy in sight. Not bad, huh?

Talk about a great lesson in minimalism. These pictures just go to show that less can definitely be more, and there’s no need to go overboard with wedding reception decorations and flowers. See that wrought iron arbour, adorned with only a few hand-tied bouquets? How perfect does it look? Sometimes clean lines exude an elegance that cascades of floral frippery just can’t.

And those wedding table centerpieces are so charming – so what if they aren’t all the same? Don’t forget, changing up the floral composition from table to table can save you money too, because some blooms are cheaper than others. And when you’ve got those cheerful gerbera daisies everywhere, you can’t go wrong!

There’s just so much to love about this wedding. Go ahead, gorge yourself on the pics… we did!
