Christmas Wedding Favors & Gifts For Your Winter Wedding
Looking for Christmas wedding favors? If you're planning a Christmas-themed wedding good idea! It is a great opportunity to bring your family and friends together. Not only to celebrate your wedding, but also to celebrate the holiday - for the first time as a combined family.
A wedding at Christmas usually implies that you will consider the traditional colors and themes of the season. Another important aspect of planning your Christmas wedding is making a decision about the Christmas wedding gifts you will give your guests as favors!
Wedding favors are often cast aside or even worse, thrown in the trash. This is not the vision you want for your wedding favors - right!. For your Christmas wedding, the following Christmas wedding gifts will make THE perfect favors for your winter wedding.
Ornaments for Christmas Wedding Gift Favors
As far as Christmas wedding favors go, this is at the top of my list! It's an effortless way to keep on theme AND they won't junk-up the home of your friends and family. The other great thing about them is the fact that wedding favor suppliers have designed them as favors AND placecard holders - talk about more bang for you buck!
Below are some great ideas you can find online, but if you want something a little more unique or personal, you might be able to find someone in your home town who can place monograms on any ornament you want. Just remember that regular Christmas tree ornaments won't be able to double as a place card holder.
Christmas-themed Chocolate and Gourmet Cookie Wedding Favors
You just can't go wrong with chocolate or cookie Christmas wedding favors - everyone loves cookies and chocolates. When you're shopping around make quality a priority. To save, I suggest buying these items in bulk and then divvy'ing them up. Get some Christmas-inspired packaging and you're ready to go.
I love these items below (they look great, taste great, and it's convenient), but you might be able to get something at a local shop as well. If you do want to shop around, I suggest you bookmark this page - if you really love one of them, it might be difficult finding something exactly like these in every town.
Christmas-themed Perfumed Soap Wedding Favors
Soap is one of those items that make a great wedding favor regardless of season (or occassion actually). But if you want to turn this much-loved item into the perfect Christmas wedding gift for your guests, get some good Christmas-themed packaging!
You can buy soap pretty much anywhere, but below are some great (convenient) options online. If you buy in bulk and package on your own, just make sure that if you get a scented soap, you wrap it REALLY well - like in an airtight container. Otherwise, the scent will be overwhelming in your venue.
Practical At-home Christmas Wedding Gifts For Your Guests
These are some at-home items with a Christmas-theme that won't go to waste. I'm a huge fan of practical snowflake wedding favors not to mention anything that has to do with wine. So if I can get both in one, I'm even more of a happy camper!
I've never actually seen items like this in a local shop, especially not at the prices these favor suppliers offer. So if you like these ideas, I suggest you get them from these folks.
Christmas-themed Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate For Your Favors
Who doesn't want to sit down with a warm cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate around the holidays? The fact that you can get these items in Christmas packaging makes them all-the-better for your Christmas-themed wedding!
Some fun ideas for distributing these: The other cool thing about these favors is that you can mix and match - You can have a faux Santa Clause bag filled with a variety of these hot, tasty drinks. Or, you can place 3 small, decorated Christmas trees on a table and place these underneath them.
You can get tea, coffe and hot chocolate anywhere but I think it would be a big pain in the butt to package them since they have to be air tight. I suggest you get them from one of the below suppliers for simplicty (and cost).
Anything... as long as the packacing has a Christmas feeling
Above are some of our favorite ideas for Christmas-themed wedding favors. But, they aren't the only ideas! You can give your guests anything under the sun (from fresh mini Evergreens to wine and hot sauce) and as long as the packaging looks Christmassy you're good to go.
