Creating Your Own Wedding Website? Here are the Top 4 Places To Do That For Cheap!

If you want to create your own wedding website you're probably wondering which company you should do it with - there sure are a lot of them to choose from. Below is a list of 5 of my favorite wedding website providers and what makes each of them so special in their own way.

I've reviewed the most popular wedding website online to help you decide who you should go with. If you're creating a wedding website, are planning a budge wedding and/or want to keep it simple you're best off sticking with one of these products instead of a personalized designer.

Wedding Window

They have some pricing features that many of the other websites don't have (like cost of custom domain names), but they are also known for being one of the most user-friendly websites with more ways to customize and personalize your site.

Pros: Their designs are really nice and you shouldn't have a hard time finding one you like (with almost 600 to choose from!). They have 6 different prices ranges from $0-$119/year and

Cons: Don't be fooled by the free package -it's only free for 10 days! the 6 month package however is really great, as you don't need to have your site up and running for your ENTIRE engagement.

Final Thoughts: I think this is probably your best bet for a wedding website. With either the 6 month or 12 month fee you get their super handy bells and whistles (which are apparently fairly decent) and you can probably keep your site up for a few months after your wedding.

Nearlyweds

I LOVE that NearlyWeds has partnered with numerous invitation designers so that you can create a website that matches your invites.

Pros: I think that there fantastic designs are my favorite thing about Nearlyweds - as is their partnership with the a ton. They've got a fair number of bells and whistles, like blog attachment and guest management.

Cons: Their guest management and wedding planning tools aren't really that impressive - in fact, I think that they might actually cause you more stress. And, depending on your budget their pros might not

Final Thoughts: If the $99/year price tag doesn't scare you away, you totally want your invites to match your site and you want to have a lot of options to chose from, then I think that Nearlyweds would be a great place to create your wedding website. The design interface is great, but I wouldn't bother with their planning tools.

Wed Quarters

This site also has a lot of really nice designs that are simple but really lovely. They also seem to have a few more features than what you'd get above. I guess it just depends on if you need those features and whether or not you like the designs.

Pros: This is the cheapest option online. It's also super simple with some great features like unlimited photo uploads and gift registry links. It does without a lot of useless bells and whistles. Nice, simple designs.

Cons: If you want all of the bells and whistles, you're not going to get them here, and their designs aren't the most unique or creative.

Final Thoughts: If you just want a place to post information about your wedding and want a simple, but nice design at a reasonable price ($29.99/year) then Wed Quarters is the solution for you.

eWedding

eWedding has several price ranges so there's something for every budget.

Pros: As mentioned above, I think that it's great that they have different packages and prices. It can be as cheap as free or as costly as $149.95/year. The designs are simple, but nice.

Cons: The designs are simple and nice, but nothing like the Nearlyweds designs you can choose from.

Final Thoughts: If you just want a place to post information about your wedding and want a simple, but nice design at a reasonable price ($29.99/year) then Wed Quarters is the solution for you.
