This page shares my 2 favorite diy wedding ideas. Maybe you've been thinking of a theme since you were 6 or maybe you just started after that big resounding "YES". And, chances are, right now you're either confused or conflicted as you're trying to plan your perfect wedding while staying on budget. Either way, this page is for you - You beautiful, blushing bride-to-be's on a mission!
But choose wisely...the right DIY project canhelp save thousands on your overall wedding costs...or waste much needed money. (Find out which DIY projects make sense in Perfect Weddings Without the Debt).
DIY Wedding Favor Centerpiece
This is one of my all time favorite DIY wedding ideas because it's more eco-friendly than a lot of the other favors out there, and kills two birds with one stone.
This would look great regardless of the wedding. Just vary the pot and the flower to suit your them or the formality of the wedding. Terra cotta or metal would look great for more rustic theme, while glazed ceramic would be better for more traditional themes.

A Fan Program
When I came across this fan program I immediately fell in love with it.
It isn't necessarily simple - just think about cutting out each and every one of those - but if you have the time and patience they sure are pretty!

Non-floral centerpiece

When it comes to DIY wedding ideas for centerpieces, this is probably one of the most versatile and simple ideas out there.
Change up the fruit, the vase and even the size of the candle to create a centerpiece that works with your wedding theme.
Why Your DIY Project Matters
I hope you have some new ideas. Now learn how to make your DIY choices make good budget sense. In my wedding guide "Perfect Weddings Without the Debt" I have a whole section on DIY weddings, and explain how the right overall choices can end up saving a lot of money. And how the wrong DIY project can lead to an expensive and inferior item. Every section of the guide gives you cost-saving and do-able diy ideas and tells you how you can save on everything else related to your wedding.
Wedding Math
Considering that 140 guests is the average wedding size, did you know you can spend $800 to $1800 on ceremony chairs alone?
"Perfect Weddings Without the Debt" advises on how save on just about everything to bring this superfluous cost down with wise theme choices, and focus it on those things that are more critical (your dress...or pocketing the savings for your new, debt-free life).
