Fall-themed wedding favor coasters (or any kind of coaster favor for that matter) can be a bit trinkety. But, since you're planning a fall-themed wedding it IS nice getting something with a fall theme that's also practical. Coasters ARE a great option. But, let's talk about how you can make sure you're guests really do love their fall-themed coasters!

Here's the one thing I like about wedding coasters as favors - they're practical (as I mentioned above). But beyond that, they're one of those things that people always seem to need. Most of us have a few coasters in our homes but then there's this one big party and we could totally use a couple more.

With that said, unless you're getting these coaster favors for your parents or REALLY close friends/family they don't really want a favor with your picture on it. Sorry...they don't. Really! So, to be safe go with a simple clear or frosted coaster with leaves on it.

If however you want to do something a little creative and unique with your fall-themed wedding favor coasters you CAN get one that includes a photo frame area. BUT, instead of including a pic of you and your groom, why not create a really cool graphic of a nice quote instead? That's one of those things people really love. If you're getting a fall-themed wedding favor coaster with room for an image the other to keep in mind is this - not all of them need to have the same image/graphic. You CAN put your engagement shots in there for mom and dad, a great photo of you and your best friends for your maids, etc. You can be as creative as you want!

The other neat thing you can do with these is use them as placecard holder... I love 2 in 1's! What you can do here is get a cool font and then place the names of your guests inside the photoframe area of your coaster. Do you love this idea as much as I do?! All you'd have to do is get Avery labels (and their templates) and a great font. The font is really important though. It'd have to be GREAT! MyFonts.com is a great place to get them. They even have some for really cheap!

I don't know about your parents, but mine love having pictures of me all over the house. They actually display the wedding photo book I created for them (ah!). A cute little coaster would be a little less conspicuous and it would make them happy.
