4 Simple DIY Favors for Romance
Simple handmade wedding favors for relaxation and romance makes a great gift! What makes these simple favors even more special is the fact that they are edible and/or usable.
What makes that so great? Well, that's simple... gifts that can be used and savored are the most appreciated in today's eco-conscious world. Besides, who needs another knick-knack?
Also, your handmade favors can have the creative flair of a totally pro product! Go for simple ideas like candles, salts, and all of the other ideas below - and don't forget the labels and packaging for the extra special added touch.
Here are my favorite handmade wedding favor ideas.
Beeswax Candles
All you need are some beeswax sheets in a theme-related color and some natural fibre wicks. Attach two candles with a personalized ribbon, hang a thank you tag from it, and if you want to get super fancy, include a simple flower, like a lavender stem.
Scented Mist
Just get add some essential oil to water, with a pinch of salt (to hold the scent) and that's it! Get a simple spray bottle and affix a thank you label to front. Citrus and musky scents like sandalwood work for both men and women. I have noticed Mandarin works especially well in the bathroom (wink wink).
Natural Homemade Soap
Purchase the melt and pour soap of your choice (i.e., goat, avocado, etc). Add some flower and essential oil after transferring to a baking sheet. Wrap it in cellophane with a ribbon or put it in a personalized bag.If you want to get super fancy, include a simple flower, like a lavender stem.
Bath Salts
Get some bath salts or epsom salts and combine with essential oils (make sure it's not too strong) and perhaps even some dried flowers. To package it get some glass bottles or jars and a personalized label stating the type of salt (i.e., Romantic Bath Salt) for the outside of the jar. Place in a lovely bag with a thank you hang you tag. Citrus and musky scents like sandalwood work for both men and women.
