The top honeymoon spots around the world make it easy for newlyweds to start their lives with unique and exciting experiences.

In my wedding guide "Perfect Weddings Without the Debt" I have a whole section dedicated to honeymoons. This post wedding rendezvous is built up in our imaginations just as much as the wedding, so skipping this topic just wasn't an option!

But, right now you're interested the top honeymoon locations. And that's exactly where I hope the tips on this page will help. From Canada to the South Seas, there's a place we all fantasize and dream about. A place that's engrained in our minds as the one of the best top honeymoon vacation spots! It's a place (or several) we all put on our list of "must see" in this lifetimes.

The Top Honeymoon Vacation Spots

South Pacific

If you're looking for an exotic and tropical vacation, then a honeymoon in the south seas is probably where you'll find your top honeymoon spots! Islands like Fiji, Australia, French Polynesia, and the Maldives are part of the South Pacific.

A Honeymoon in Canada

A honeymoon in Canadahas a multitude of places for an incredible and romantic honeymoon.

From the east coast to west culture varies from the down-to-earth east coast folks to the tree-huggers of west. There are so many top honeymoon spots in Canada because there's just so much to do!

For outdoorsy couples you can find some of the best skiing, white water rafting, and hiking anywhere. Plus, activities from whale-watching to dips in secluded mountain springs are sure to create lasting memories that will last a lifetime.

A Honeymoon in the Caribbean

We all know that virtually every island in the Caribbean has something pretty special to offer each and every one of use - certainly no shortage of top honeymoon spots!

There are however a few secluded and romantic Caribbean honeymoon spots that stand out has being particularily special for honeymooners. For instance.....

Anguilla is particularly special just because you can pretty much guarantee incredible weather regardless of when you visit, while a honeymoon in the Bahamas is another really popular place to go! Others included St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Turks & Caicos and Guadaloupe.

Honeymoon in Europe

If you're trying to decide the best European honeymoon destination, you'll have loads of fun! There are a ton of amazing places to visit and a multitude of choices for every budget and style of honeymoon.

For an idyllic and affordable honeymoon Slovenia is on my person list for top honeymoon spots just because it's just so incredibly beautiful, so easy to travel around and makes it easy to experience almost anything we'd want to do.

You can literally go white water rafting, go on a wine tours and take day trips to places like Croatia and Venice without spending all of your time driving or flying from one place to other - all only a short 2-3 hour drive apart!

There are also places like Paris which literally ooze romance out of every nook and cranny or culturally rich places like Greece, Southern Space and Prague that will also fill your desire for a truly European experience.

 All of these places offer the most in luxury while allowing you to bask in the tropical surroundings and enjoy activities like snorkeling, deep sea diving, jet skiiing and even hiking.

The United States

There is certainly no shortage of choice for a honeymoon in the U.S.A. Popular destinations like Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, and New Orleans are only a few of the destinations available to those who want to travel to the U.S for a honeymoon.

If you live in the U.S a honeymoon in your own country makes a lot of sense economically, and offeres such a huge variety of options that there's very likely the perfect spot for you and your new spouse to make great memories!
