10 Great Designs For Tropical Wedding Invitations

1} Peacock Feather Tropical Wedding

What's not to like about this fabulous peacock feather inspired wedding invitation? It's gorgeous - Classy, young, sophisticated, trendy, AND timeless. Yep, all of those in one!

And, it's one of the few favors that you can find online that will sell them in groups of 10 (usually 25 is the minimum). This is brilliant if you're having a really small destination wedding. It makes it a heck of a lot more affordable if you don't have to order invites that you'll toss away!

2} Tropical Bamboo Wedding Invitation

This has always been one of my favorite invitations for tropical themed weddings.

I remember it when I was planning my own wedding and a few years later it still looks as fresh and timeless as it did then.

It just goes to show you how good design stands the test of time. And the cost of it is pretty average - it's not cheap, but it's not extremely expensive either. For between $150 and $175 you can get 25 invitations. Not bad for the quality and style!

3} Berry Colored Palms For a Tropical Wedding Invitations

Talk about a blast of color! I love the purples with the orange'y reds, single white palm and white box for text. It's the perfect balance of color and SOOOO tropical-looking.

AND, even though this invitation looks pricey, it isn't so bad at all. For just under $150 you can get 25 invitations (enough for most destination weddings!). I was honestly surprised when I saw the cost. I was certain it would be in the mid $200's for 25 invites.

Just take note that this invitation (and any others that are 7x7) will require extra postage. It's usually double so if you go with this invite (or any others that are the same size) make sure you calculate that into your budget.

4} Earthy Vivid Coral Tropical Wedding Invitation

Isn't this SO earthy looking! If you're planning a tropical wedding and happen to be an earthy couple this color scheme and invite is just lovely.

You can't tell in the picture, but the orange on this invite is a little shimmery. I think that'll give it really tropical feel. And, even though it might look like a bit of a DIY project it isn't - the invite comes completely assembled!

BUT, if you're on a tight budget you're not going to like the price - these are a tad over $400 for 25 invites. All that detailed work and the fancy shimmery paper really brings up the price. I still like it though and couldn't stop myself from including it on this top 10 page. If I had the budget it would definitely be on my list of favorites!

5} A Bright Tropical Water Color by Lisa Levy

I'm not sure if this designer planned it this way, but this invite feels SO much like those hand panted silk scarves that you can buy when you're on vacation in the tropics. It also comes in orange and pink - both great alternatives!

Isn't it just beautiful! I think this is a fun, creative and sexy while still seeming mature. If you're a fun couple planning a sophisticated tropical wedding this would be a fabulous invitation for you!

And the cost is very fair - approximately $80 for 25 invites. Plus, you can get as few as 10 invites in this design making it even more affordable for super intimate weddings.

6} A Modern Lotus Invitation for Tropical Themed Weddings

I kinda like being surprised and this invitation does exactly that - it surprises me with it's big, bold, modern shapes. And that color - wow, what fabulous color!

But, if you're not so into big bold colors but do like the design this design also comes in sky and deep blue, soft and dark taupe , and espresso and mustard. This one is still my favorite, but my next favorite would be the dark and soft taupe...even though the feel of it is totally different.

The price is great too! It's an invitation from Minted and for 25 you're going to pay approximately $100. Pretty awesome huh!

7} Simple Monogramed Invitation for a Tropical Theme Wedding

You just can't beat simplicity. It's modern, classic, and timeless. And even though I love the color of this invite you can also get it in green and red. And if you don't like either of those, this invite allows you to get custom colors for no extra cost!

And the price - FABULOUS! Under $80 for 20 invitations. Just make sure that you include the cost of thank and response cards - That usually doubles or triples the cost.

Also, take note: It's a 5.25x5.25 square so depending on where you are the postage you pay may be a higher than that of a regular rectangular invitation. Make sure you check with your post office before buying this if keeping the cost of postage down is important to you.

8} Colorful and Simple Foil Fashion For Your Tropical Wedding Invitations

I felt it was important to include an invitation in this top 10 list that isn't overtly tropical, isn't inexpensive, and won't end up costing you an arm and a leg for postage. This is it - don't you love it? I do!

I just love the monogramed initials on the bottom as well as the color choices and shape of designs.

The price is fabulous too! You can order as few as 10 invitations which is great for intimate destination weddings. This would cost you about $30 - Amazing right!

You still have to pay for reponse cards and thank you cards, but it's still super duper cheap considering how fabulous they look.

9} Artistic Celestial Billows

There's something so art nouveau about this invitations. I just can't stop looking at it.

It's artistic in a modern kind of way which I feel makes it seem a little more young and exotic.

You can get it in two other colors - orange and navy - but I have to admit I'm a little partial to this turqoise color! The cost is quite fair too - they are about $100 for 25 invitations. Thank you cards and RSVP cards are extra.

10} Deliciously Romantic Aqua Antoinette For Tropical Wedding Invitations

Even though this wedding invitation might not be suited to every single bride, groom or wedding style, I can't help but love it with all my heart!

Of all the invites on this page, I think this is the one I would go for if I was planning a tropical themed wedding. I love the design, the colors AND the price.

Seriously, the prices is incredible! I have to admit I was floored when I saw how little these cost. I seriously thought it would be one of those ones that cost $400'ish for 50 invites. But nope - it's close to $100 for 50 invites. OMG right!

BONUS: A Fun Pineapple Wedding Invitation by Monumental Design

I love this invitation by Monumental design. I actually like a lot of her work for tropical weddings. There's something about the casual brushstrokes of her watercolors that make them seem every more suited to tropical weddings.

What I like about this pineapple is that it's a lot of fun. It's not as serious as a lot of other tropical, beach and destination inspired invitations. If you're a fun-loving couple this would be a fabulous invitation for you!
