Victorian Wedding Rings: The Most Affordable Victorian-inspired Wedding Rings
Looking for Victorian wedding rings? Wondering what makes a Victorian ring, well, Victorian?! And what about cost? Are you curious to know the price, how much you should spend, and if (or how) you can get one for cheap? Read on...
The Look of a Typical Victorian Wedding Ring
Victorian style wedding rings are romantic and elegant and often hold symbolic undertones.
Materials used during the Victorian Era included gold (yellow or rose), silver, diamonds, rubies, and even tortoise shell and ivory (gasp!).
Today, white gold instead of
silver is also an option, though not a must. The most popular Victorian-inspired designs are simple bands with either romantic verses engraved inside or leaf-inspired artwork etched on the outside.
Some designs also include gemstones, like the popular three stone ring, which holds a center ruby between two side diamonds.
Victorian Ring Shopping Tips
If you're looking for a vintage Victorian wedding ring, finding them locally or perhaps even on Ebay may be your best option. If you do buy online though, make sure you purchase from a reputable retailer (included below).
Where to find Victorian-inspired Wedding Rings Online
Some of my favorite online supplier for discounted wedding rings include: Gemvara, the Jewel Basket and Apples of Gold. All three are reputable, have great designs, and have great websites that are easy to navigate!
Here are some Victorian-inspired ring designs from the online stores above.

Navigating The Confusing World Of Wedding Rings Prices
If you're looking for inexpensive wedding rings, the Victorian-inspired ring is one of the most affordable wedding ring options. This is because the design doesn't usually include expensive diamonds and doesn't use expensive metals (i.e. white gold and platinum).
Prices range anywhere from about $300 to a few thousand. Why the variance? The quality (and quantity) of gold or silver as well as the complexity of design all play a roll in the cost.
