Wedding Invitation Address Etiquette
Simple etiquette for wedding invitations
When considering wedding invitation address etiquette, it's important for you to remember the importance of the event - without getting too fussy.
Regardless of whether you're planning a destination or a wedding at home, these tips will help you out! Don't forget to take the same approach when deciding on how to address wedding invitations
Simple, Straight-forward How-to Advice
Include All Addresses on Response Cards
Always include all addresses (yours and your guests) on the response card envelope. Make things easy for your guests and yourself! This is the simplest of all wedding invitation address etiquette. Find out how to address wedding invitations.
Always Include Stamps for Response Cards
You must include a stamp on the return card envelope. It would be rude to expect people to run out and get a stamp for something that YOU need.
To Hand-write or Print Labels From A Computer
I think the miss manners approach is to hand write or hire or a calligrapher. Neither myself or my partner have good hand-writing, and didn't want to pay for a calligrapher so we used a printer and have seen many others do this as well. It seems that today, this is acceptable for smaller, less traditional wedding.
