Ideas For Winter Wedding Reception Centerpieces
Your winter wedding reception centerpieces can draw inspiration from a number of unusual places.
This page will explore 5 different ways you can get inspiration for your winter table decor. Twigs and Christmas bulbs are two that I really love. Candles and berries can also be used very creatively too!
In the excitement of looking at centerpieces on their own, don't forget your overall tabel decor. Winter place card holders for example can really add to the overall look of your reception decor..
{1} The Candle For Winter Themed Centerpieces
I'm a huge fan of the wedding candle centerpiece. It looks fabulous and it's usually way more doeable DIY project no matter how good you are crafts

{2} Winter Wedding Reception Centerpieces Using Flowers
If you want a winter centerpiece including flowers and are wondering how to make it a little more "wintery" feeling these images are great examples!
The first is a simple carnation tree or " Yuletide Topiary". I like it because it uses inexpensive carnations and adds a few bulbs to give it a Christmasy feel. If you don't want a Christmasy feel you could replace the bulbs with berries. And the twigs covered in crystals makes that rose centerpiece looks perfectly winter!

{3} Fruits and Berries For Winter Wedding Reception Centerpieces
Using fruits and berries (with or without candles) is a gorgeous idea for centerpieces! It's inexpensive and simple for the DIY'er. If you're using cranberries you can even do away with the evergreens and just have a pretty clear vase filled with cranberries and a candle. Pretty right!

{4} Winter Themed Centerpieces Using Foliage Of The Season
Alot of the winter reception centerpiece examples on this page include a little bit of evergreen - it makes sense since it's one of the inexpensive floral items for winter weddings. BUT, there's no reason you can't JUST evergreen branches or trees. I think that these images are a great example of how to do it well.

{5} Christmas Inspiration For Winter Reception Centerpieces
If you want to do something a bit Christmasy for your winter wedding? Use Christmas bulbs or branches adorned in flickering light. Admittedly, the second one is a bit complicated unless your venue has outlets at every table. But, if it's a possibility it would look gorgeous! And remember, not all tables need exactly the same centerpiece. Have fun!
